"Go to the Web, young journalist!" assim se intitula a carta aberta que Anthony Moor, director do Orlando Sentinel acaba de escrever na Online Journalism Review aos que estão a começar ou pretendem entrar no jornalsimo.
Por lá, diz ele, "after a long freeze brought about by the dot-com crash and 9/11, Web editors are hiring and Web operations are expanding again."
Mas também por lá, tal como por cá, o problema dos estágios profissionais, como se pode ler no primeiro comentário à carta aberta:
"Nice article, Anthony. It needed to be said. But what about internships? It's darned difficult for an online journalism student to find a paying internship, especially in Florida. They have to pay rent, you know, and they really can't afford to go three months without pay. "
